SAIE CuoreMostra 2008 was dedicated to the theme “Sapere Costruire l’Involucro” (Know how on envelopes) and it was directed by Fabrizio Bianchetti who decided to dedicate the core of the exhibition to ARUP in the central cultural square of the Trade Fair of Bologna. Around ARUP the layout of exhibition was dedicated to international excellence Laboratories and their scientific and research production on the topic of building envelopes and innovation. These where: University of Luzern, IFT Rosenheim, Istituto Giordano, Tokyo Imperial Academy of Architecture/Kitagawara Lab, Material Connexion Milano, University of Gaevle – KTH Royal Institute of Technology of Sweden, Stazione Sperimentale del Vetro, Tensinet, Politecnico di Milano – Polo Territoriale di Lecco.
Marco Imperadori, professor of Building Design and Innovation, has been invited with his team to displace in a cube space (4 x 4 m) the top of recent works of research and applied innovation carried out with his team of researchers and with his office Atelier2.
