House of Wisdom is a new generation library commissioned by the Emirate of Sarjah’s on the occasion of its designation by UNESCO as World Book Capital 2019: the new building designed by Foster & Partners studio aims to be an iconic place and a social hub open to the community, whose main objective is to promote culture, art and knowledge at all levels, also using innovation and new technologies.
Design Group Italia joined Injazat and Alkemy for the conception and development of the technological experience, for the design of some interactive stations and for the design of some areas such as the archive research area, the fab-lab, the kids area.
Valentina Gallotti collaborated with DGI in the design of the interior fittings in particular for the kids area.
